MNK-1411 is currently approved for the treatment of some inflammatory and autoimmune diseases outside of the U.S., but is not approved for and has never been studied in muscular dystrophy. MNK-1411 is an experimental alternative to treatment with glucocorticoids (e.g., prednisone or deflazacort).

  • Have a documented diagnosis of DMD
  • Be steroid naïve (have not been treated with prednisone or deflazacort)
  • Have a legally authorized representative who can communicate with study personnel, be willing to follow all protocol procedures and agree to return for all required study visits

* For a complete description of study requirements, please contact us.

  • Randomized treatment period of 24 weeks
  • Optional open-label extension period of 24 weeks, for patients who complete the initial 24 week double-blind period
